A crowdsourced attempt to fight against scam websites. It's a simple platform that allows users to submit URLs that they suspect are scams and share them with others. We've built few feautres to help determine if a submitted URL is scam or not.
All submitted URL automatically gets a scam score by our algorithm. Higher score means that URL is more likely to be a scam. This feature is currently in BETA so we don't advise users to have full faith in it.
We've build an algorithm for calculating scam score. While revealing the reason behind a certain score is educational for real users but isn't the case for scammers as they can know exactly what to do to get better score. After feedback from community, we decided to share few key stats that are part of our algorithm. Check "About Stats" faq.
We currently provide users 2 ways: Scam Score & Community Votes/Reviews. Automated scam score and Votes/Reviews by the community should be a good indicator.
Sharing scam URLs is the best way to contribute. We are also very open to suggestions and feedback (email: [email protected]).
If you'd like to challenge the scam score assigned, we're happy to take a closer look. You can write to us (email: [email protected]) with a proof of your business's legitimacy and your real name. We never charge website owners for reviews or reconsideration requests.
We do not collect any PII from users. You don't need to signup for submitting URLs but If you want to vote and enter leaderboard, registeration is required. For registration, we do not require any email which also means if you forgot your password, you/we can't reset it unfortunately.
